Dear Fellow Kawitenos, SEASON'S GREETINGS to all Kawiteňos of Southern California! The Christmas Season is around the corner again and it’s time to celebrate our traditional “MAYTINIS”. The celebration will be held at the National Guard Armory, 7401 Mesa College Drive, San Diego, California from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2008. Our celebration will not be complete without your presence. Children up to age 12 years old may receive gifts from Santa! Be sure to submit their names to our 2008 Ama at Ina ng Kawit, Jun Bautista (Ama) at (619) 269-6227 or Flora Santos (Ina) at (619) 470-1750. There will be a potluck so please remember to bring your favorite dish or refer to assigned list of dishes to bring to our Maytinis celebration: A – C Fried Chicken or Garlic Chicken D – H Adobo/Apritada I – L Pancit M – Q Chopsuey / Pinakbet R – Z Dessert (Suman, Bibingka, or Puto Bungbong) The Kawitenos of Southern California, Inc. will provide the Ham, Roast Beef, Kalandracas, rice, and drinks. Join us and enjoy a wonderful occasion with your fellow Kawiteňos. In addition to the festivities, members of the Kawiteňos of Southern California will do caroling during the celebration. Envelopes will be distributed for any contributions that you would like to donate. For your donation, you may write a check payable to Kawiteňos of Southern California.
